35 Weeks!!!

Well, here we are at 35.2 weeks...where has the time gone?! We have both been very busy this week with last minute preperations and appointments. David's work is busier than ever keeping him at the office long hours and away from home. But we are just thankful that he has such a great job. We are continuing with our Lamaze classes and will have our last class this Monday. We also took a prenatal breastfeeding class, toured the hospital, and pre registered. We will meet with the pediatrican on Wednesday for our meet the parents session.

I had my 35 week appoinment on Tuesday and they did the Strep B testing which we should have the results of next week. She also checked my cervix and said she could feel the head...so we are moving right along! My next visit is next Thursday where they will do an ultrsound to check her position and weight. Carsyn seems to be doing well. She is still very active even though she is running out of room. She continues to dance everytime she's around music. Already taking after her mommy. As for me...I am starting to feel more uncomfortable and HOT. Of course living in Florida where it is 95 everyday in the summer is not working on my side. Lucky for me the air works good and the pool cools me off.

We also had another shower at David's work. It was a suprise for him and he was definitely suprised. We got hooked up with even more goodies for Carsyn. We are so blessed to have such great people in our lives. Please check back with us, the final countdown starts Monday!!!

More Nursery Pictures

Carsyn's Nursery

We have finally completed Carsyn's nursery other than a few decorating accessories. We are very thankful to those who helped us along the way. It was definitely a group effort. I also went back to the doctor this past Thursday and everything checked out great. She is still not verticle but continues to make progress. The doctor seems to think that once she drops she will straighten out. Fingers crossed. We will have an ultrasound in two weeks to confirm her position and weight. Doc seems to think she's around 4 or 5 pounds right now. I am starting to get more uncomfortable by the day, but I know it will all be worth it once we see our little girl!!

32 weeks!!

Well, it's not even June yet and we have already reached the 90's. I have a feeling it's going to be a long and HOT summer. Other than being hot and uncomfortable, mommy and Carsyn are doing great. We went to the doctor this past Thursday and everything is going according to schedule. Carsyn is still measuring a week off but that's because she is still not laying verticle. She is however making progress...somewhere between horizontal and verticle. We have every reason to believe that she will be in position in time for delivery. She's just taking her time!! I will now go to the doctor every two weeks for the next month and then every week for the last month. We will have another ultrasound at 36 weeks to make sure she is verticle. If not, they will try to move her, if that fails, they will do a C-section. We also started lamaze class this week and will continue going for the next 4 weeks. We are looking forward to spending a nice relaxing weekend at the lake for Memorial day. We are making great progress on the nursery and will be posting pictures soon so please check back.

Thanks Everyone!!!

David, Carsyn, and I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful shower gifts and a special thanks to Bri and Erin, and Jan and Stephanie for hosting two wonderful showers. We enjoyed seeing everyone but wish we could have visited longer. Carsyn and mommy are continuing to grow and she is more active than ever, making it harder to sleep at night. We go back to the doctor in two weeks. Check back with us for more updates!

Carsyn Ansley Jones at 28 weeks

Today we had our 3D ultrasound and little miss Carsyn was being a little stubborn. She loves to put her hands and feet in front of her face so no one can see her. She did manage to move them enough to get a few pictures and of course to stick her tongue out at us. Everything checked out normal. Her heart is beating in the 140's per minute which is normal. She is still laying horizontal however and not verticle. Yet another example of her stubborness!!! We will get the results from the glucose screening next week, hopefully all will be well. We look forward to seeing most of you this weekend at the showers!
